Home Maintenance gives you the
client the ability to schedule the service around your schedule allowing you
the luxury of saving your valuable time. The adage "time is money" is more
fitting today than any other time in our lives. With technology moving us
faster and faster to keep up at home and work, it does not make sense to
allow equipment, fixtures or structural items to fall into disrepair.
By putting planned maintenance into your home you are increasing the life,
value and efficiency of the maintained items keeping money in your pocket by
minimizing costly repairs. One of the most common statement we hear from
service providers is, "a little maintenance would have saved that client
quite a bit of money". It is our goal to maximize the value in you home
with scheduled maintenance while minimizing costly emergency repairs.
The value of seasonal maintenance:
Spring:
-
Check your air conditioner, blower unit and evaporator
coils before the weather gets too warm. You will get maximum efficiency
from the energy you are paying for every time the unit kicks on.
-
Dryer vents cleaned.
-
Duct cleaning. Change the air you breathe in your
home.
-
Inspect the wood and structure of your home for any
weather damage that needs to be fixed or replaced prior to winter.
Summer:
-
Periodic drain cleaning during the hot days of summer
will minimize your drain problems when the feeder roots for those leafy
trees in your yard start looking for water. The hotter the summer, the
more active the roots are seeking water. Don't wait for a messy back up
to call for the plumber.
-
Get your deck sealed while the weather is hot allowing
the sealer to properly dry. Most manufactures require the temperature
over 65 degrees and the surface to be dry for a minimum of five days
before applying. In the fall you may have a hard time getting five dry
days in a row.
Fall:
-
By sealing your driveway before winter you eliminate
those cracks that moisture can get into freezing and expanding the opening
preventing costly repairs and replacements.
-
Check your heating system for the winter time. The
money you spend on properly cleaning and preparing the unit will come
right back to you in energy savings every month.
-
Check the operation of your water heater.
-
Keep those gutters cleaned out and ready for those
snowy winter days. When the snow melts, its better for the run off to go
through the gutters than over them. Over flowing gutters can be a
problem for wet foundations, crawl spaces and basements.
-
Chimney and Fireplaces cleaned for winter usage.
Winter:
Basic maintenance maintains the life of a product or piece
of equipment. The longer it lasts the more value you receive from your
investment. Put your money into scheduled maintenance and you will be money
ahead. Lack of maintenance generate repairs and replacement costs. |
